PorcelainPal is a sub-brand of "Unicrafting" founded by Elena Du, co-founded by Max Lau, and based in Riverside, USA. The brand embodies spirit and legacy with its slogan, "revere all beings, cherish the connections."

Through conveying our brand philosophy, we establish a new perspective and appreciation for the connection between humans and animals. Our Story

Hi. So, I’m the person behind PorcelainPals. I never quite grew up from that childhood stage where you are obsessed with all kinds of animals and need to pet all the street cats and dogs even though your mom is yelling at you not to do that because you’ll die (sorry, mom).

​

My name is Elena, and I'm from a small city named Xiangyin, a place with many homeless cats and dogs. PorcelainPals came into existence because I witnessed the miracle of a mother’s love. One day, I saw a cat mom bravely facing off against several stray dogs to protect her kittens. Despite being hurt badly, she never stepped back. I yelled angrily and tried to scare them away. However, I was too terrified to come close. I couldn’t stop thinking of this incident for a long time. Her love moved me to start PorcelainPals to honor her bravery.

 

I began making handmade ceramic animal figurines, pouring my heart into each one. To make a difference, I donate 15% of my profits to local animal shelters. Surprisingly, people around me noticed my actions and started to join me! What we hope to do is give more animals a home.
